PHYSICAL CONSEQUENCES
Some of the consequences of misusing or abusing prescription drugs include:

  • uncontrollable diarrhea, vomiting and nausea

  • body function disruptions — including excessive sweating, urination or thirst

  • drowsiness, dizziness, shaking, insomnia

  • severe and extensive rashes

  • hospitalization

  • death

Prescription drug abuse can affect you in other ways that aren’t physical. It can affect other parts of your life, too; important parts — like your education, and relationships with your family and friends.
